I ‘ll bet many artists have had the notion to give up. The art life is not for the weak or the meek. Rejection comes with the discipline. I enjoyed coming across you story about persistence.
Malcom Gladwell has a theory about pesistence, he opines that one has to put in 10,000 hours to be proficient
at something. So us artists have to apply that rule all of our art lives.
