I know of no other business that wants to make money but that can have such reservations about making, as if there is a conflict.

No money, no art supplies, no art. At minimum.

Cheers,

Still, many of my fine artist friends feel they are giving up too much time from their art into basic PR strategies. You suggest a good compromise here. I’ve talked a lot on my blog about artists empowering themselves to make money–using famous examples from the past. Making money from art doesn’t diminish your it–but rather strengthens your commitment by freeing your time for your art work.

The artists who have pioneered this journey of personal empowerment and who are willing to generously share their successes and the paths that have not worked for them deserve respect and gratitude and you, without a doubt, have mine. Thank you.

The “starving artist” attitude and the idea that artists somehow deserve to be subsidized is a terrible outlook on life. Thanks for helping people to find their own power.
